Adhesive Feature | Pressure-sensitive adhesive with air-release channel technology |
Application Method | Wet Application Method (Soapy water slip solution) |
Optimal Temperature | Ideal: 18°C to 25°C+ (Avoid applying below 10°C or above 38°C) |
Minimum Order Quantity | 1 Piece (Custom sizes, die-cut shapes, and graphics) |
Emergency & First Responder Vehicles: High-visibility body graphics, chevrons, and badges for police cruisers, fire trucks, and ambulances.
Commercial Truck & Logistics Fleets: Contour marking tapes, rear safety chevrons, and corporate logos to prevent nighttime rear-end collisions.
Highways & Workzone Safety Signage: Permanent traffic signs, construction zone guides, and directional road markers.
Personal & Micro-Mobility Vehicles: High-conspicuity safety stickers for electric bicycles, motorcycles, and helmets.
Industrial & Logistics Facilities: High-angle reflective markers for warehouse logistics, industrial machinery, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Pre-Installation Recommendation: Condition the reflective material in a clean environment between 18°C and 26°C for 24 hours prior to application for optimal adhesive bonding. Ensure graphics from the same batch are used for large-area installations to maintain uniform color consistency.
Assemble the following tools before starting installation:
Spray bottle (filled with clean water + a few drops of dish soap)
Squeegee (felt-edge or rubber)
Clean microfiber towels
Precision utility knife
Heat gun / portable hairdryer
Surface Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the target surface to remove grease, road film, and dust. Ensure the panel is completely dry.
Wet Lubrication Spray: Lightly mist the substrate with diluted soapy water to allow easy positioning and prevent immediate aggressive tack.
Positioning & Orientation: Peel off the release liner, align the decal onto the target area, and lay it flat. Note: Maintain directional consistency across panels for uniform angular reflection.
Squeegee & Air-Release: Using a squeegee with firm, overlapping strokes, sweep from the center outward to push out all liquid and air bubbles. The air-release channels in the 4090 series facilitate smooth liquid evacuation.
Edge Trimming & Heat Setting: Lightly warm corners and edges with a heat gun (at a low temperature) to soften the material, press down firmly, and trim any excess material using a utility knife.
Adhesive Curing: Allow the graphic to cure in a clean area. Do not wash the vehicle, expose to rain, or leave in direct scorching sunlight for 24 hours post-installation to let the adhesive bond completely.
Issue | Cause | Recommended Solution |
Sub-optimal Application Temp | Installing below 10°C or above 38°C | Work in a temperature-controlled area between 18°C and 25°C. |
Film Distortion | Forcible stretching or pulling during application | Do not pull or over-stretch the film, as it damages the microprismatic optics. |
Trapped Air Pockets | Incomplete liquid evacuation during squeegeeing | Puncture the center of the bubble with a fine needle tip and squeegee flat. |
