Common Label Failures in Energy Storage Systems
Environmental Degradation
Battery cabinets run hot, cycle between -30°C and 60°C, and face UV and electrolyte exposure outdoors. Standard labels fade, embrittle and crack within 2-3 years — while the safety warning must stay readable for the system's entire 15-20 year life.

Data & Compliance Risk
Every pack needs serialized numbers, barcodes and ratings — often printed in-house by thermal transfer. Non-certified blank labels smudge, fade or void the UL 969 certification, failing audits and delaying commissioning.

Adhesion Failure
Powder-coated steel, aluminum and low surface energy plastics each need a different adhesive system. One-size-fits-all labels lift at the edges or detach completely, and winter installation makes it worse.

Certified Compliance, Verifiable at Any Audit
MAC Labels' marking and labeling systems are certified under UL 969 (File No. MH67591), with pre-approved constructions built on 3M 2008 + 3M 8520 and 3M 2208 + 3M 3699. That means your labels pass inspection the first time — no re-testing, no re-submission, no commissioning delays.

Industry Solutions
We always focus on customers, pay attention to their needs, provide high-quality products and excellent services to meet their expectations.

Battery Module & Pack Labels
Voltage, chemistry and warning markings printed on UL-recognized polyester
constructions, with options for thermal-transfer variable data (PGJI2) so your team can serialize packs in-house.

ESS Cabinet Warning & Data Labels
High-durability overlaminated labels rated for outdoor exposure,
carrying electrical shock, arc flash and energy hazard warnings required under UL 9540 marking requirements.

NFPA 855 Emergency Responder Signage
ESS data labels and hazard signage that carry chemistry, capacity
(kWh), disconnect locations and 24-hour emergency contact — exactly what first responders and AHJ inspectors
look for.

Disconnect & Arc Flash Labels
AC/DC disconnect identification and NFPA 70E-style arc flash markings
engineered for legibility on energized-equipment surfaces.
