Full wraps begin with vehicle template design, followed by HP Latex printing on cast vinyl in large panels. Graphics are laminated with 3M cast overlaminate, then precision-cut to match panel shapes. Installation requires experienced installers and may be supported by our technical team.
Soap-water spray bottle, squeegee, heat gun, utility knife, lint-free cloth, masking tape, measuring tape, wrap glove or felt squeegee.
Thorough vehicle prep. Wash, clay bar and degrease the entire exterior. Remove wax, grease and contaminants.
Remove obstacles. Remove door handles, mirrors, lights and trim where possible for cleaner edges.
Panel-by-panel layout. Identify each printed panel and match it to the corresponding vehicle section.
Wet or dry application. Use wet application for large flat areas and dry application for compound curves as needed.
Stretch and conform. Use heat gun to warm vinyl and stretch it over curves, recesses and rivets.
Trim and tuck. Cut excess material around edges, door jambs and panel gaps; tuck edges where possible.
Post-heat. Re-heat all stretched areas and edges to set the vinyl memory and ensure adhesion.
Cure. Keep the vehicle dry for 48 hours; avoid high-pressure washing for one week.
Full wraps should be installed by trained professionals for best results.
Do not overstretch vinyl in recessed areas; use heat strategically.
Use knifeless tape for clean cuts on panel edges and color breaks.
