3M™ 200MP High Performance Acrylic Adhesive Tape Product Introduction

  • Industry Standard Bonding: Powered by the legendary 3M™ 200MP acrylic adhesive, establishing the definitive global standard for structural bonding on metals and high surface energy (HSE) plastics.

  • Ultra-Precision Cutting: Fabricated within a cleanroom environment using industry-leading machinery to guarantee tightly controlled dimensional tolerances (within $\pm0.1\text{mm}$) with completely smooth, burr-free edges.

  • Exceptional Environment Resistance: Offers robust defense against moisture, UV aging, and harsh industrial solvents, maintaining flawless bonding elasticity across extreme high and low temperatures.

  • Anti-Curling PCK Liner: Utilizes heavy-duty multi-coated polycoated kraft paper (PCK) liners that eliminate wrinkling and curling in high-humidity conditions, maximizing die-cutting yields.

  • Bespoke Production Flexibility: Certified original 3M supply supporting any irregular custom shapes, backing sheets, or precision coils with a flexible minimum order quantity starting at 1 PC.

Installation, Operation & Storage Guidelines

  1. Surface Treatment: Ensure the bonding substrate is completely clean, dry, flat, and free of dust, grease, or oil contaminants prior to lamination.

  2. Operational Environment: Execute the assembly at stable room temperatures. Avoid working in sub-zero cold, wet, or heavily airborne-dust heavy zones.

  3. Lamination Pressure: Align the tape carefully (re-positionable for a short time initially) and apply firm, even pressure to ensure absolute contact without air bubbles.

  4. Curing Timeframe: Allow the bond line to rest undisturbed for 24 hours to achieve maximum physical cross-linking. Avoid moisture or mechanical stress during this window.

  5. Substrate Matching: Excellently matches metals, acrylics, ABS, and polycarbonates. Note: Cross-testing is recommended for low surface energy (LSE) materials before mass deployment.

  6. Storage Parameters: Retain products within original protective packaging. Store at 21°C ($70^\circ\text{F}$) and 50% relative humidity for a validated shelf life of 24 months from the manufacturing date.
